9958 John Webber (1751–1793) - A Man of Oonalashka (Unalaska) - Copperplate Engraving (Late 18th Century)

John Webber was an English artist who served as the official artist aboard HMS Resolution during Captain James Cook’s third and final voyage of exploration in the Pacific. His detailed drawings of landscapes, cultures, and people from the voyage were later engraved and published, establishing an important visual record of the late 18th-century world.
