"Royaume de Hongrie et Pays Adjacents". This geographical map displays the central European territories of the Kingdom of Hungary, including Transylvania, Croatia, and Slavonia, along with bordering regions of Poland, Silesia, and the Ottoman Empire. The engraving illustrates the relief of the Carpathian Mountains, the courses of the Danube and Tisza rivers, and the locations of major fortified cities. The composition features a title block identifying the author as the Hydrographic Engineer of the Navy and includes multiple scale bars for different measurement units. This work was published in Paris as part of the Atlas de toutes les parties connues du globe terrestre by the publisher Jean-Leonard Pellet in 1780.

Rigobert Bonne was a French cartographer and mathematician who held the prestigious position of Royal Hydrographer at the Depot de la Marine. He was responsible for producing highly accurate maritime charts and terrestrial maps that served both scientific and military purposes. Bonne is recognized for his significant contributions to the encyclopedic projects of the Enlightenment, including his collaboration with Guillaume Raynal. His maps are characterized by a refined aesthetic and a commitment to updated geographical data, influencing European cartography for several decades.
