"Botanik XVIII". This work illustrates several distinct plant species, beginning with a detailed study of a Cyclamen, showing its characteristic marbled leaves, nodding pink flowers, and underground tuberous root system. The central and lower sections of the plate feature woody branches with developing fruits, including cross-sections that reveal seed arrangements and internal pulp structure. The chromolithograph includes technical line drawings of floral parts and ovaries to assist in scientific classification. This piece was printed in Vienna by S. Czeiger and published by Verlag v. Alfred Hölder as part of a natural history atlas intended for academic use.
