10014 Jan van Rymsdyk (c. 1730–1788) – Anatomical Illustrations of the Brain – Copper engraving (1774)

Jan van Rymsdyk was a Dutch painter and anatomical draftsman active in London during the latter half of the 18th century. He is recognized as one of the most prominent scientific illustrators of his time, best known for the precise and detailed engravings he contributed to landmark medical texts, particularly those of William Hunter. His work combines scientific accuracy with artistic quality, significantly advancing the field of medical illustration.
