190 Carl Axel Magnus Lindman (1856–1928) – Set of 4: Currants, Cloudberry, and Sea Buckthorn Botanical Studies – Chromolithograph (Circa 1905)

This set of four detailed botanical prints illustrates several distinct fruit and berry species from the Nordic region, highlighting both cultivated and wild varieties. The plates depict the Red Currant (Ribes rubrum) and Black Currant (Ribes nigrum), the Arctic Cloudberry (Rubus chamaemorus) with its distinctive orange fruit and complex root structure, and the thorny Sea Buckthorn (Hippophaë rhamnoides), notable for its bright orange berries and silver-green foliage. These prints originated from the authoritative botanical atlas Bilder ur Nordens Flora (Pictures of Northern Flora), which aimed to provide an exhaustive visual record of Scandinavian plant life.
