"Trachten VI" illustrates five figures showcasing various regional costumes from South America during the late eighteenth century. The upper section features a man in a striped tunic alongside a woman in a pleated skirt, a woman in an elaborate white wide-hooped dress with a red shawl, and a seated couple in vibrant green, orange, and red attire. The lower section depicts a figure in a dark cloak with a decorative headpiece and a man in a brown poncho conversing with a woman in a pink shawl and patterned skirt. This hand-coloured copper engraving was published in Weimar as part of the Bilderbuch fur Kinder, an extensive educational series intended to categorize and describe the world for younger readers.
