12637 Giulio Romano (c. 1499–1546), after – The Fall of the Giants – Engraving

The composition displays various muscular figures in contorted poses amidst crumbling stone structures, representing the moment of divine retribution from the heavens. He was renowned for his imaginative and highly theatrical compositions that pushed the boundaries of classical Renaissance proportions. His work at Palazzo Te remains one of the most significant examples of Mannerist art, showcasing his ability to create immersive, large-scale illusions.
